Ah yes, yes. I also shared the same curiosity about that matter. Unfortunately I don’t have a complete knowledge about this process or what you said as phases of this development more than you or any GITS fans out there. Most of the time we’re still left in the dark about this one, perhaps if I could have access to some of Japanese materials with good translation I could say the otherwise. I just hope that I could provide decent answer with little error on my part of understanding, reading or watching Shirow's GITS.
