David Walliams (stage name of David Edward Williams) is an English comedian, actor, television personality, and–of course–writer. Best known for his (and Matt Lucas’) BBC sketch comedy series Little Britain and Come Fly With Me, Walliams is also a judge on the television talent show competition Britain’s Got Talent on ITV.

In 2008, he published his first Children’s novel, The Boy in the Dress. He didn’t stop after that, writing one a year or more. Some of them have been adapted into films for BBC One or Sky One. He also published picture books and Short story collections illustrated by Tony Ross–Quentin Blake only illustrated his first two books.
